Highlight:

The 2020 Pinot Noir Central Otago is an elegant rather than robust interpretation, representing the direction in which many of the best producers are heading. It is fragrant, offering up red cherry and strawberry as well as florals, dried herbs and even a hint of white stone fruit. There's a wildness to this wine aromatically but the texture and gentle tannins are refined and mouth-licking good, perhaps a result of just one pumpover during the whole of the fermentation- Rebecca Gibb, January 2023

Pyramid Valley Pinot Noir 2020 from Central Otago is a refined, site‑driven expression made from organically/biodynamically farmed fruit. Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry are interwoven with dried thyme, subtle spice and a hint of earth. The palate is light‑ to medium‑bodied and silky, with pure red fruit, bright acidity and fine, powdery tannins leading to a fresh, gently savoury, mineral‑edged finish. Elegant and food‑friendly, enjoyable now and over the next 5–7 years.
