Description
The Porseleinberg Syrah 2022 comes from the rugged, schist-rich slopes of Swartland in the Western Cape. Made with minimal intervention by Callie Louw, it focuses on expressing the vineyard’s character.
It shows concentrated blackberry and plum flavors, layered with black pepper, herbs, and a distinctive smoky minerality. The wine is full-bodied with firm tannins and fresh acidity, giving it both power and balance. It finishes long and savory, and can age well for over a decade.
