94 Points Wine Advocate - Pahlmeyer's 2024 Chardonnay comes from four sites: Stagecoach (47%), Waters Ranch (28%), Antica (20%) and Hyde (5%). Predominantly Old Wente selections, it's all barrel-fermented and aged for 11 months in 91% new French oak. Despite that wood, the results yield just gently toasted grain notes accenting pear, melon and citrus. It's medium- to full-bodied, plump, silky-textured and generous, but it finishes clean and crisp. It's bottled unfined and unfiltered.
