Description
Domaine Ramonet’s Corton‑Charlemagne 2012 is a benchmark Grand Cru white Burgundy, combining the domaine’s signature freshness with the breadth of this historic hill. The nose shows lemon oil, green apple and pear layered with Ramonet’s characteristic minty lift, toasted hazelnut, subtle brioche and flinty mineral notes. On the palate it is full‑bodied and concentrated yet finely chiselled, with intense citrus and orchard fruit framed by bright acidity and a firm, stony backbone, leading to a long, saline, deeply layered finish. Already complex, it still has significant capacity to evolve in bottle.
