95 Points: Erin Brooks - The Wine Advocate Grapes for the 2021 Chardonnay Freya Hermann Cuvée were harvested on September 16. The wine was matured for 23 months in 100% new Billon oak, which is already exceptionally well integrated. It has an incredible floral perfume and a pure white-apricot core. The palate balances expansive, satiny fruit with taut acidity, and it has a very long, detailed finish. Its concentration and structure point to a long life in the cellar. Only 82 cases were made.
