The Capo di Stato “Lui & Lei” 50th Anniversary Case from Loredan Gasparini is a strictly limited, numbered wooden box created to celebrate 50 years of Tono Zancanaro’s famous labels. It contains two bottles of Capo di Stato 2019 — one “Des Roses Pour Madame” and one “… Et Pour Monsieur La Bombe” — plus a numbered, signed certificate of authenticity and a small booklet recounting the story of these two iconic “His & Hers” artworks.

Capo di Stato, a cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec created by Count Loredan Gasparini, is a legendary wine: rich yet refined, in a classic Bordeaux style. The 2019 shows dense structure and exceptional depth, with aromas of spice and red and dark fruits, fine ripe tannins and beautifully integrated new French barrique (two years’ ageing). Critics describe a brilliant deep ruby colour; layers of cassis, plum, leather, tobacco, pepper, liquorice and wild berries; a juicy, balanced palate with lively acidity, silky yet firm tannins and a long life ahead.
