The 2023 Haut-Médoc de Giscours is a very pretty, elegant wine. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, cinnamon, blood orange and a hint of cedar give this fragrant, mid-weight offering tons of charm. A dollop (10%) of Cabernet Franc works so well in lifting the aromatics and lending notable brightness. The 2023 is impeccably done-a charming Haut-Médoc to drink over the next decade or so.
